Punjab Government enhances conveyance allowance for police personnel


CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government has decided to enhance conveyance allowance to Inspectors, Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables and Constables in Punjab Police.
        
According to an official spokesperson, now the Inspectors would now be entitled for Rs 600, Sub Inspectors Rs 550, Assistant Sub Inspectors Rs 500 and Head Constables Rs 450 while Constables would be entitled for Rs 400 per month. He said that the orders would come into force with effect from December 1, 2011.
